Tehnical Specification

Light Sensor

The watch uses a visible‑light silicon photodiode to measure ambient light and deliver real‑time exposure values. Its reflective metering system works like a camera’s, providing fast and reliable readings. The sensor is highly linear across a wide range of exposure levels, keeping results stable as lighting shifts. You set the ISO, then choose aperture‑priority or shutter‑priority, and the watch calculates the remaining settings instantly.

Golden Hour Alarm

The watch gives a gentle alert exactly 30 minutes before Golden Hour, so you know when to head out and start shooting. It works completely offline: no Bluetooth, apps, or phone needed. Timezone data is built directly into the microcontroller, which, along with the real‑time clock, calculates daily sunset times throughout the year. You set your time zone once in the watch’s date and time settings, and it automatically determines local sunset and triggers the Golden Hour alert.

Machined Aluminium

The watch housing is precision‑machined from aerospace‑grade aluminium on a 5‑axis CNC, with the case, backplate, and buttons cut from a single block for maximum strength and tight tolerances. After machining, it’s bead‑blasted and anodised for a durable, matte finish reminiscent of classic camera bodies. To keep the internals protected, the watch uses induction charging instead of exposed ports, and a sealed backplate with an integrated gasket boosts water‑resistance — creating a minimalist, rugged shell built for real‑world use.
